Overview

Computer workstations are located on the main floor of the library and on the second floor. The machines are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All users are required to sign in with their UTORid (or a temporary login, where applicable) in order to access a workstation.

Eligible workstation users:
• U of T students, staff and faculty
• ICICLE guest account holders

The workstations in the North and South Information Commons are all equipped with Internet Office computers. They offer Internet access, library catalogue, and electronic library resources as well as Microsoft Office and open source Office like suites. A complete listing of software available on the internet office computers is here.

The four computers along the very back wall of the South Information Commons have scanners and image editing software in addition to the office and internet software on the other machines. A complete listing of software available on design computers is here.

The first row of computers in the North Information Commons closest to the main entrance and facing the Circulation Desk have CD/DVD R/W Drives installed. e.g. computers PRW002, PRW003, PRW004, PRW005, and PRW006.

There are additional full service workstations at both ends of the second floor. Catalogue lookup machines are available on every floor.
