How to Change
Language Settings in Microsoft Word

| Introduction Microsoft Word is a very powerful word processor. Not only can it check spelling in English but the entire program can change into the language of your choice. It is very easy to make these switches. Note: It may take a couple of seconds while the computer installs the foreign language software. To Change the Language In the bottom right hand corner of the screen there are two little button's that look something like this: (buttons may not look exactly as shown)
It may be two different letters such as FR if the language is set to French. To change the language just left-click the buttons and select the language you wish. You can change back and forth between languages this way in your Word document. If you choose a language with a different character set the keyboard will change to reflect this.
