Series primarily consists of extensive research cards containing biographical and genealogical information for key figures in Smith's books, as well as background information, research relating to Methodism and The Credit Mission, and other subjects. Series is also comprised of research files written and compiled by Smith on various First Nations and Indigenous topics of interest, and includes articles, news clippings, copies of serials, an audio cassette and CD containing Ojibwe hymns.
Original recordings of the Ojibwe Indian Choir at the Curve Lake Indian Reserve are held in the Bill Montaigne fonds (reference code C 239) at the Archives of Ontario.
Access to material on Lloyd King 2018.02 Box 1 File 5 is restricted until 2040.
