Scope and content

Series contains personal records and ephemera related to Stephen Riggins' youth, education and travels. It consists of school records, diplomas and degrees, photographs, copies of legal documents, Boy Scout Jamboree material, and various ephemera including programs, posters, pamphlets, proofs, invitations, illustrations and flyers collected by Riggins and received from friends.

Conduct books owned by Riggins' mother, Eithel Riggins, are also included.

Contains brochures, programs and invitations to galleries and exhibitions in Paris for Alabama-born artist Fred “Nall” Hollis. Includes the program for Nall’s Alice in Wonderland exhibition at the Huntsville Museum of Art in Alabama, which features a drawing of Stephen Riggins and Paul Bouissac as the lion and the unicorn.

Proofs of Fred “Nall” Hollis’s illustrations for his Alice in Wonderland series. Stephen Riggins modeled and appeared in some of the drawings. An inscription to Stephen Riggins and Paul Bouissac is written on the proofs.
