Records relating to family
Subseries consists of records relating to Mary Rowell Jackman’s family, 1904–1994. Includes personal diaries, curriculum vitae and autobiographical notes, records relating to births, weddings, and deaths, such as condolence letters written to Mary after the deaths of her parents and husband; as well as a substantial amount of newspaper clippings and other ephemera featuring family members' political involvment, especially following Harry Jackman and Hal Jackman’s careers; and other records. Includes records relating to MRJ’s awards and speeches, such as records relating to being awarded the Diefenbaker Award, 1985, records relating to the opening of the Mary and Harry Jackman Gallery, 1989, and records relating to other awards and speeches.
