Subseries consists of Mary Rowell Jackman's incoming and outgoing correspondence with family members re religion, philanthropy, politics, the women's movement, travel, art and literature and other subjects, predominantly from 1921-1994. Includes letters sent and received during a formative year spent in Paris after graduation; courtship letters with Harry; and numerous postcards and letters from her travels; as well as correspondence between other family members, 1824-1994, a substantial portion being letters sent between Nellie Rowell and her son Frederick while he served in WWII. Subseries also includes one scrapbook of correspondence containing Mary's letters to her son Edward and one scrapbook of correspondence containing Harry Jackman's letters to Edward.
