Consists of newspaper clippings, photocopies of articles and pages of magazines of articles written by Wilson.  Topics include the Royal Tour of 1939 to Canada, The St. Lawrence Seaway, price control in Canada, and an article about Switzerland.  The articles are from publications including Chatelaine Magazine, The Financial Post, Current Affairs for the Canadian Forces and The Rotarian.

Consists of newspaper clippings related to speaking engagements given by Kenneth R. Wilson, as well as articles related to awards he received for journalism, his move to the Maclean Publishing Company. Articles are from The Financial Post, The Globe and Mail, The Brantford Expositor, etc.

Typescripts and published copies of speeches given by Kenneth R. Wilson at various events and conferences to groups and associations including The Rotary Club, The Empire Club of Canada, the Purchasing Agents Association of Toronto, the CBC, the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, among many others. 

14Forums1939-1951

Typescripts/transcripts of The National Forum and The Citizen's Forum in which Kenneth R. Wilson participated. The forums were broadcast on CBC radio and the subjects were: "Is Canada Over-Governed?," "What Economic Agreements are Needed?," "Has Big Business Too Much Power," and "St. Lawrence Seaway: What does it mean to Canada and the U.S.A?"

15Reports on trips1939-1951

Reports were written by Kenneth R. Wilson to his colleagues/boss at the Financial Post about trips/assignments that he went on.  Report titles are "West Trip, September 1950" and "European Trip, 1951."   There is also a typed letter to his family about his assignment covering the Royal Tour in 1939.

Consists of newspaper clippings and photocopies of articles about Kenneth Wilson's death from publications including The Ottawa Evening Citizen, The Sarnia Canadian Observer, The Edmonton Journal, The Daily Spectator, The Toronto Daily Star, The London Free Press, etc.  Also contains a typescript and a reprint of an article from The Canadian Journal of Economics and Political Science by K.W.Taylor about Kenneth Wilson's life.

This scrapbook belonged to Nora Ruth Wilson, the daughter of Kenneth R. Wilson and Ruth Wilson nee Duggan.  The scrapbook contains 2 class photographs but the remainder is cut out images from magazines and newspaper clippings, particularly related to the end of the war.

21 RRScrapbook 1908-1944

Scrapbook contains items from Kenneth R. Wilson's school days at Rutland House, Brantford Collegiate Institute and Victoria College as well as items from his career as a journalist and editor. Includes report cards, photographs, ephemera (memorabilia) from dances, events, newspaper clippings, etc.   

The scrapbook is fragile and is currently restricted for preservation reason, however a scan has been made and is available online.

11James Wilson notebook1791

Notebook belonging to Wilson's great-grandfather, James Wilson, a Church of Scotland minister in Gamrie, Banffshire, Scotland. Contains notes made by James throughout the 1780s including notes on moral philosophy used in sermon preparation, rents paid by farmers who used the croft connected to the parish manse for grazing, details of battles in which his sons George and Hugh took part between 1755 and 1768, accounts of gifts and other transactions.

Currently in conservation for treatment and rehousing.
