Douglas Donegani, the founder of Ethos International Incorporated, is the ex-husband of Janis Rapoport. He is a freelance writer, editor and publisher, was a founding publisher and the Associate Editor of Ethos magazine and the Associate Co-ordinator of the Words Alive Reading Series, 1983–1986. Donegani, born in 1949, is the son of Douglas Donegani Sr. and Lucille Elsasser. After studying Environmental Studies, he received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Manitoba in 1975, and then spent two years studying film at York University. He has taught Creative Writing for Sheridan College and George Brown College, and is a member of organizations such as the Art Gallery of Ontario and PEN. His publications include Imaginings, and articles relating to ecology, spiritual issues, and other subjects.
Series consists of the records of the Ethos Cultural Development Foundation, including Board of Directors files, magazine production files, correspondence arranged chronologically (dates), a complete set of Words Alive and printing production art work, layout forms and advertising copy. Includes Douglas Donegani material.
