One can search by texts (title), tunes (tune name), people (composers and poets), and hymnals. One can also browse hymns appropriate to the liturgical calendar, topic, chapter of the Bible, or liturgical function. Hymnals can be browsed by denomination, and listings of hymnal collections can be searched as well. Typical listings for a hymn include the text, information on the tunes, poets and composers, references to scripture, inclusion in various hymnals, page scans of public domain hymns, and downloadable files. |
