This print is designed to show how it would be if the sun were a fixed body in the centre, and the earth revolving in its orbit round it, how the earth would vary with every fixed star on the Equator by degrees throughout the whole of its orbit. The earth would not be in the same position with any one of these fixed stars two successive days throughout all the year, but would be in one posoition, with each star, no more often than once in every year.
