Music, No. 9 ("Jullien's Album for 1852"). Two lovers, in the dress of the period of the "Grand Monarque," are shown in a French garden. It was included in the 1860 Southgate and Barrett Catalogue, which describes it as: "A chaste and beautiful representation of a meeting of young lovers after a quarrel. The scene is the garden of a nobleman's mansion; costume is of the XVII century."
