THE SIEGE OF SEBASTOPOL. 1855.

THE SEIGE OF SEBASTOPOL

The Allied Fleets are seen bombarding the Russian stronghold. There is some very minute work, such as the troops on the heights in the distance. The smoke and distant hills lend perspective to the scene. Sebastopol fell the 8th September, 1855 , after a siege of 349 days.
