The books in this exhibit are from the Rev. Richard Green's (1829-1907) collection. Rev. Green was a bibliographer of the works of the Wesley's. He wrote, The Works of John and Charles Wesley: A Bibliography, The Life of John Wesley, The Mission of Methodism, and John Wesley: Evangelist. The Green collection was presented to Victoria University in 1921 by Sir John Eaton (son of Timothy Eaton).

Additional information can be found in F. Louis Barber's account of Green's collection as published in the May 1938 issue of the Victoria University Library Bulletin (see above link to "History of the Collection").
