Archives of Sexuality & Gender: LGBTQ History and Culture since 1940

Includes digitized materials (published between 1940 to the present) from several libraries and archives in Canada (including the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives in Toronto), United States (such as the Lesbian Herstory Archives) and the Great Britain.

Photographs, correspondence, medical research records and other types of primary sources are part of the collection.

LGBT Thought and Culture

Contains books, periodicals, and archival materials documenting LGBT political, social and cultural movements throughout the twentieth century and into the present day.

Women’s Studies Archive: Women’s Issues and Identities

Manuscripts, newspapers, periodicals, and other primary sources pertaining to the social, political, and professional achievements of women throughout the nineteenth and twentieth century.

In Response to the AIDS Crisis: Records of the National Commission on Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, 1983–1994

Briefing books, hearing and meeting transcripts, reports, and press clippings document the activities of the National Commission on Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (NCAIDS). NCAIDS was an independent body created in 1989 by federal statute with the mission to advise Congress and the President on the development of “a consistent national policy” concerning the HIV epidemic.
