iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. In Settings, tap Wi-Fi.
  3. In Wi-Fi Networks, choose UTORwin. If UTORwin does not appear, look for a wireless hub or ask our staff.

  4. At the password prompt type UToronto1home (case sensitive).
  5. Open your Safari browser. You should automatically be directed to the login page. Type your UTORid and password and you’re in!

  6. If you are not automatically redirected, type login.wireless.utoronto.ca into the address bar of the browser and then type your UTORid and password.

Blackberry

Your Blackberry must be Wi-Fi enabled.

  1. Tap Manage Connections.
  2. Choose Set Up Wi-Fi Network. In the Set Up Wi-Fi Connection dialog box, choose Manually Add Network. Blackberry step 2
  3. In the Manually Add Wi-Fi Network dialog box, type UTORwin, then tap Add.

  4. At the Security Type prompt, select WEP. At the WEP Key prompt, type UToronto1home (case sensitive), then tap Connect. Blackberry step 4
  5. Open your web browser. Go to login.wireless.utoronto.ca.

Android

  1. Tap the menu button, then tap Settings.
  2. In Settings, tap Wireless controls, then Wi-Fi settings.
  3. Choose the UTORwin network. If UTORwin does not appear, look for a wireless hub or ask our staff.

About the Campus Wireless Network

Logging On

You are required to log in with your UTORid before you can use the wireless connection. Normally the wireless system will redirect you to the login page. If not, the address is http://login.wireless.utoronto.ca.

Normally your session will timeout after thirty minutes, but if you wish to explicitly logout, go to http://logout.wireless.utoronto.ca. This is optional.

Usage of UTORcwn is subject to all existing policies for the appropriate use of information technology.

How to Get the Free UTL App

iPhone / iPod Touch / iPad

  1. Go to the App Store.
  2. Search for utl mobile.
  3. Install the app.

Blackberry

  1. Go to http://utl.boopsie.com.
  2. Click Download for Blackberry.
  3. Check Set Application Permissions and click Download.
  4. Save the default permissions. The download and install will now start.
  5. Reboot the Blackberry if prompted.
  6. UTL Mobile is in the Downloads folder.
  7. On first run, grant Trusted Application status to UTL Mobile.

Android

  1. Go to the App website at http://utl.boopsie.com.
  2. Click the Download link and wait for the apk fi le to download.
  3. Click on the downloaded fi le to automatically launch the application installer. You need to download and install Application Installer from Market in order for this to work.
