Laptops
Overview
Library laptops are available for a three-hour sign-out at the Inquiry Desk and they cannot be renewed. Valid TCard is required.
Appopriate use of laptops:
The laptops are for use in-library only. They must not be taken out of the building for any reason.
Please return your laptop promptly when the borrowing
period is up. The overdue fine is $5.00 per hour.
The laptops are configured for both wireless and wired Internet access and are also equipped with office software and wireless printing. Ethernet cables needed to connect to the wired network are located at the Inquiry Desk.
If you require technical support, please ask for help at the IT Support Desk.
Multimedia Laptop
A computer with design software is also available at the Inquiry Desk, which was donated by Victoria University Students Administrative Council.
The laptop is equipped with Adobe Creative Suite 5 and includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, and Indesign and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
