The IT Help Desk is located beside the elevator near the South area of the Information Commons.
IT Help Desk Hours:
Beginning September 12 : Monday - Thursday 9 am - 9 pm, Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Beginning September 19: Monday - Thursday 9 am - 10 pm, Friday 9 am - 7 pm, Saturday 1-6 pm, Sunday 1-10 pm
Beginning Friday, November 4, the desk is staffed every evening until 10:00 pm and opens at 10:00 am weekends.
We provide assistance with any library software or hardware that appears to be malfunctioning. It will help us to identify problems if you let us know what they are as soon as they develop.
We will also try to help with problems in the use of software where we can, though we do not provide training in the use of software packages. To assist you, we have supplied some online "how to" software guides.
E-Classroom Hours: The EClassroom opens Wednesday, November 2 and will be open from noon to 10:00 p.m. until Sunday December 4. From December 5-8 it will be open from noon to 6:00 p.m.
When editing documents, ALWAYS work on a copy saved to the My Documents folder, not directly on an email attachment or the copy on your USB key. When your're done, email or save the new version under a name different from the original.
