SHORT CHANGE (after J. Collison, Esq.) 1856
SHORT CHANGE

Depicted in this picture is a young boy who has returned to his grandmother from marketing. She does not appear to be at all satisfied with the amount of change she holds in her hand. A badly concealed whistle in the trouser pocket of the boy tells the story of the short change.
