Biographical Sketch

Harold Bennett was a Classics Professor who served as Registrar before his appointment as Principal in 1944. Due to President Brown’s illness, Bennett also carried out the duties of that office during 1949–1950. He retired from the Principal’s Office in 1959.

Scope and Content

Series consists of Principal Bennett’s correspondence. The filing system is alphabetical, with most files having subject titles and the rest containing “miscellaneous” material filed by surname of the correspondent under a letter of the alphabet. The types of correspondents and subjects covered are similar to those described in the first series of this fonds.
